Blue Sky Gathering won me over with its home spun charm. Creatively hand built, the inviting farm stand looks out toward cotton fields in the west, alpacas in the east and yes, sprawling blue sky above. I find the best (most affordable!) organic produce at Blue Sky, along with other irresistable goodies like cozy alpaca socks and yummy essential oil soaps. For me, the biggest treat of visiting is a warm welcome and chat with (owner/grower/friend) Talia Lumpkin. Her passion for spreading simple goodness is inspiring! Can't wait to go back; it's now a highlight in my Saturdays!

Fresh produce and interesting conversation.

Fresh greens like turnip kale, collards mustard and other crops such as turnips, radishes, carrots, fruits and nuts all their season at good prices. I need to get back over because collards are even better after a frost. Also you will likely learn something new every trip because you never know what other activity might be going on at the farm that day.

Great family friendly farmers' market. We absolutely love this group and all the wonderful programs they have to teach young people about local farms. :)
