More than just turkey
By: Susan Zencka    (Sep 25, 2009)

We bought Thanksgiving turkeys from Good Earth Farms in 2006, and every year since. In 2007, when my son and daughter-in-law were getting married, we bought hamburger there for the rehearsal dinner backyard grill-out we were having, and many people commented on how great the meat was. I had been vegetarian for a number of years, but started eating meat now and then, and the only meat I buy is from Mike and Deb Hansen at Good Earth -- it's always good. Our grown sons love their hams in particular -- the flavor is delicious. We've had Easter leg of lamb, Christmas hams, Thanksgiving turkeys, and I always keep a chicken or two in the freezer. The side of pork I got from them was fantastic. I still don't eat much meat -- but what I eat, I thoroughly enjoy, thanks to Mike and Deb.

perfect Thanksgiving bird!
By: Randolph L Trexell    (Nov 28, 2008)

nothing to complain about -- my turkey shipment was sent quickly, carefully packaged, and arrived in fine shape. Its flavor was a delicate and tasty treat compared to grocery-store bought birds and definately did not disappoint! Look forward to purchasing again from this LocalHarvest member and thanks for making this a great T-day ~~

Wonderful turkey
By: Denise S Mitchell    (Sep 17, 2008)

We ordered one of these turkeys for Thanksgiving 2007 and just ordered another for 2008. It is by far the best turkey I've eaten since I was a child over 50 years ago. Full of good, clean flavor and so moist! The shipping was excellent--well packaged and timely. You couldn't ask for a better overall experience!
