I had a membership in this CSA in 2006 and I loved the amazing tasty produce every week. I really never needed to go to the store except for eggs and milk. My only regret is that I had to move from the area, and it's just too far to travel every week. I loved getting heirloom tomatoes and perfectly ripe but not mushy peaches, and sweet young corn. I learned a lot of ways to cook kale, and I finally learned to really enjoy a simple salad with the always different bunch of lettuce in my pickup. If you sign up early enough, you get "farm dollars" that let you pick out an extra item or two, like an extra pint of blueberries- awesome reward.
One of the only farms I have seen which offer a half share, which is perfect for my 2 person family, I hate to let food go to waste because I can only buy huge shares from the other farms.
I loved meeting and chatting with Genevieve, and the great recipes in the newsletter. Even though I can't make it down to the stand very often, I still make a lot of the recipes! Next year, have a drop-off site in Lowell, please!!
Amazing produce and friendly faces!

We LOVED our CSA experience w/ Stillman's Farm. We have never tasted such delicious and fresh produce -- It truly was amazing to enjoy such a big box of wonderfully fresh fruit/ veggies/ herbs every week last year! I honestly almost never went to the supermarket from June - Sept! (We only needed milk, grains, and protein -- everything else we received in abundance from Stillman's). We were so sad when it was over last year and the produce from supermarkets left me craving for this coming June! We met Curtis and the gang at the Lunenburg farmstand every week, and they couldn't have been friendlier. We received the weekly newsletter which was filled w/ great stories, recipes, and even identification of some of the rarer veggies I had never seen or tasted before (kohlrabi? loved it!). We took advantage of the Single share, which was plenty for our family of 2 adults, 2 young children w/ small appetites. Hope everyone gets to enjoy some of their fresh and delicious produce!
