Love this farm
By: Josh Bernstein    (Nov 19, 2012)

We just purchased our first 1/2 of a hog from Connie and Darrell at coach Stop Farm and we could not be more pleased. The process was very simple, just emailed Connie after finding her website, and we signed up for our half and filled out the processing form. A little while later the meat was delivered to our door.

In addition to ease of communication, this all resulted in the best pork we have ever had, all at one of the best prices I have found while searching for a good local source for pork. So far we have tried both the bacon (which was very flavorful, and less salty than commercial bacon) and one of the hams, and my family made quick work of each.

Finally, when we first asked about ordering the hog we mentioned that our kids would be interested in seeing the farm. They invited us out at a time when Darrell was just doing chores on the farm and he spent at least 45 min showing us around everywhere, from the chicken coop, the barn, the pig pens, etc... He even showed my kids how he likes to thrown pumpkin "grenades" into the pig pens for the pigs to enjoy in the fall.

All around this has been a great experience and we will continue to buy meat from coach stop farms as we go along. Give it a try, you wont be disappointed.

This was the first time we have ever ordered chicken from Coach Stop Farm and it was wonderful! I'm planning to make stock with the chicken as well to save money and produce wholesome and nourishing stock to can! Thank you Coach Stop for raising your animals the way God intended!

Great Lamb and Chickens
By: William Smith    (May 10, 2010)

Conni and Darrell really know what they are doing. We have purchased both the chicken and lamb (Chicken several times and lamb this past fall) and have found the flavor, quality and service to be top-notch. The chickens are large, flavorful and juicy, the lamb chops were unbelievably good. We highly recommend this farm to others and would recommend a farm tour if you are out that way. It is really fun.

We recently purchased a Berkshire hog from Coach Stop and have loved it! The meat has great flavor, is very juicy, and is like nothing I've purchased in a store before. We would highly recommend purchasing from Coach Stop!

Best Chicken You've Ever Had
By: Philip Cok    (Apr 30, 2010)

We buy (and freeze) Coach Stop Farm Chicken. Fresh is best but even after thawing CSF chicken is the juiciest, most tender chicken you'll ever have.

These are fryers mind you but being free-range grown, they are 6-8# or better. Like a small turkey only not as dry.

The farm is fun to visit and they are always welcoming and willing to give tours. You can't find a better source for your food that you know where and how it's grown. No worries about foreign contaminants, growth hormones or drugs (just vitamins to keep their legs strong enough to hold up all that weight).

We have purchased a lamb and a Berkshire pig from Coach Stop. They were both very good and very reasonablly priced. They are great to work with on the order process.
