Reviews for: Amy's Garden

What a treat
By: Darien Fisher-Duke    (Sep 28, 2009)

This summer our CSA shares from Amy's Garden have been a real treat. As usual, we have enjoyed the friendly service and the tasty, fresh produce. And, we have continued to make new discoveries. We have discovered popcorn on the cob, crowder peas (yummy!), and have found that we can't go more than three days without eating fresh greens (collards, kale, chard) because they're so delicious. And who wants store bought tomatoes after eating Amy's?

Thanks for another wonderful season of fresh food delights.

Highlight of the week
By: Nikki Rovner    (Aug 11, 2009)

Picking up our veggies from Amy's Garden is something I look forward to every week! The quality and variety are excellent, and I love the fact that it's organic. And it's all served up with a smile.

Great decision
By: Win Whitehurst    (May 24, 2009)

We are splitting a 2009 share in Amy's produce, and so far we love it. Everything is super fresh and so lasts longer. The strawberries are a good example. When they arrive they are ALL ripe - not a half white berry in the box - and yet they last several days in the refrigerator without getting soiled. I think they would last longer, but we eat them as fast as I can chop them up! We are definitely stretching ourselves to eat new foods or old foods in new ways - and have tried some of Amy's recipes. We definitely recommend Amy's Garden - and her flowers are gorgeous!

Unique, Yummy Varieties
By: Kristin Meyers    (Jun 7, 2008)

My husband and I were a part of Amy's Garden's CSA the summer of 2005 and LOVED it!!! The many varieties of tomatoes were absolutely delicious and it was a lot of fun cooking with veggies we were being introduced to for the first time. We moved from the area and joined a CSA there, but it just wasn't Amy's. We highly recommend this CSA!!
