The farmers are so kind to my three children. They patiently describe each vegetable they sell, and that is so educational and hand-on for my kids. I've even taken my kids' friends with us to the market just for the wonderful experience. I usually buy some produce, and then the merchants often give my kids free stuff. They'll pick out their favorite apple or a funny-shaped potato and the merchants let them keep it. It's a wonderful experience for the kids in our neighborhood and gives us a place to find delicious homegrown goods.
