1st time purchasing/ cooking venison

This was my first time purchasing fresh ground venison, my first time cooking it. I was very pleased w/ the ground venison. It was not gamey tasting, the texture of the meat was good, it was very flavorful. My family and myself loved it. But best of all it was very easy on both my daughter and I sensitive digestive system. NO MORE BEEF FOR ME!

Fantastic

I have been ordering from Michigan Venison Company for almost a year now. Every thing I have ordered is awesome! No gamie flavor just pure lean meat with great flavor! ( I have ordered the ground , brats and steaks ) I hope they have steaks again soon!

First Time Won't Be The Last Time

I had never had venison before in any form. In order to determine whether I liked it, I purchased some ground venison from Michigan Venison through LocalHarvest.com. I used the meat for the simplest of things: cheese burgers with a little Jarlsberg. They were FANTASTIC. For those of you considering venison as an alternative to beef and other meats, I highly recommend this product from this supplier. I am now trying to decide what to try next: loins, steak, or roast!!
