My son had swimmer's ear. Initially I put hydrogen peroxide in his ear and watched it bubble, indicating there was an infection. I then used 1/2 alcohol and 1/2 raw apple cider vinegar 3 x/day and colloidal silver 2x/day for 3 days. He dried his ear with a hair dryer after each time we put the above in. His ear still hurt a lot. It was then that I discovered this product. I used this product twice and the pain was alleviated and my child was able to sleep through the night! I don't know if the cure was a combination of all that I did or what, but this product certainly allowed the canal to heal quickly after the harsh initial treatment. I know this to be true as a physician allowed me to look in his ear just before I started administering it and it was definitely irritated. He recommended antibiotics, but I held out. If there is ever a next time, I will try this product first, as I did have to offer ibuprofen (very reluctantly) the first 3 days. I would think it would be important to make sure the water is out of the ear prior to using the product.
