Fresh Bay Laurel Leaves are a fixture in the cooking of European cuisines particularly those of the Mediterranean. Fresh Bay Leaves are used to flavor many classic French dishes: They are used in sauces, soups, stews, meat, seafood, and vegetable dishes. Cooked with pasta or rice they add a wonderful aroma to the home kitchen. The leaves are most often used whole and removed before serving.
