Our farm is a small labor intensive operation. We mainly grow vegetables, but also have fruits, berries, and soon livestock. I have been farming, on my own, since the mid-90's mainly as a hog farmer--Daniel joined in 2000 and we started vegetable raising. Most of our farm is certified organic, the part that is not organic is treated the same as organic but the seed used on that portion of our farm is not available in organic or untreated yet--those specific seeds we plant is what prevents us from certifying that field. We sell most of our goods at farmers markets in Indy, suburbs of Chicago, and around our area. CSAs are also offered. Wholesale to other marketeers and restaurants is a part of our farm as well. There is discounts for businesses and organizations that reach minimum number of CSA sign-ups at a single location
