Rise and Shine Farm is committed to using only sustainable and organic cultural practices. Our soil based approach to fertility and nutrition uses cover crops / green manures, compost, rock powders and natural soil amendments to enhance the population of soil microorganisms. The soil feeds the plants - it is our job to feed the soil. We are pursuing organic certification, and are currently categorized as 'transitioning to organic', which means we are using only organic practices, fertilizers etc. We never use chemical pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers or genetically modified seeds. *** Click on 'CSA Details' below for more information ***
