Our 50 acre farm is located in the heart of the Central Valley and borders the Merced River. On a levee next to the river and under a majestic 200 year old oak tree, I have planted over 600 lavender plants and this year I am expanding my growing area. I grow seven varieties of lavender which include the most fragrant (Grosso, Super, & Alba) to varities used for crafting. I also grow two varities of culinary lavender. My crop is pesticide and chemical free. All work is done by hand.
We have seven types of fresh lavender available from May 15th to July 15th. Five types have a fragrant aroma and two types can be used in foods ranging from lamb to jellies and tea. Both aromatic lavender and culinary lavender are available all year in their dried form.
