ROARING "L" RANCH. Fruit for the 2014 growing season May-Sept. Cherries came and went in May this year. The Birds and a cold night at the wrong time got most of them. Right now we have peaches, apricots, & nectarines.

Certified Producers Certification since 2002. We are located on five acres in Phelan, the champaign climate of southern California. Fruits are available from early June to early October. We grow stone fruits (cherries, peaches-many varieties, plums, nectarines), apples (Arkansas Blacks, Gala, Fuji, Golden Delicious, Granny Smith, Macintosh, Red Delicious, Roman Beauty's), pears. Each are available during their season. We do not use chemicals, or pesticides. Please call (760) 868-6826 for appointments and/or more information.

On June 10, Richard ruptured his Achilles tendon and pulled the calf tendons which has hindered his activities:( He can bear no weight on his right foot for 6 weeks. We are hoping for more pickers as we have not figured out a Thurs. market plan that I can handle yet:)

My family loved picking at your clean and friendly place. The kids loved petting your dog and cat too. The peaches are wonderful! I have already made peach shortcake last night, jam this morning, and I plan on doing a good chunk of canning today! We will definitely come back in the future and I already have some friends who are planning on coming to pick next week. Have a happy 4th!

Pat ~ I just finished the last bite of those wonderful late peaches ('cept for the ones I froze). They were sooo tasty and made me smile over my morning cereal.... [more]
