The Robert Treat Farm is an authentic, working family farm market and garden center located adjacent to the historic beach community of Woodmont-on-the-Sound in Milford, Connecticut. We farm approximately 30 acres of rich Connecticut soil just three blocks from Long Island Sound, and there is almost always a fresh sea breeze wafting over us. We are famous for our juicy, sweet corn and tasty tomatoes, but we have so much more to offer when it comes to nutritious produce. We believe in the sustainability of the land and care for it in ways that will ensure not only healthy crops, but a healthy lifestyle for our family and that of our community. Our Garden Center bursts into life when we open for the season in April, and we have everything you could want for your yard and garden along with friendly, knowledgeable staff to help with questions large or small. Farming Practices: [?]

conventional,  integrated pest management

Robert Treat Farm became a family farm market over 60 years ago when Robert M. Treat hooked up a farm stand structure to his tractor, pulled it to the side of the road and began selling his juicy, delicious tomatoes and golden, sweet corn directly to the public. Year after year, these local summer classics continue to make food history for their unsurpassed taste.

The Woodmont Farmers' Market takes place right here every Wednesday 3:30pm-6;30pm July 7 - September 29 rain or shine. Come visit!
