Rolling Hills Farm has been raising Registered Jacob Sheep and chickens since 1998. We are nestled amoung a number of wineries in the rolling hills of Yamhill County.
Jacob Sheep are a white sheep with black spots and have multible horns. Jacob sheep are a very ancient, domesticated breed. Their fleeces are prized by hand spinners and connoisseurs of natural color! They are easily handled and show a good resistance to parasites and foot problems. Ewes lamb easily and the lambs are up and nursing quickly. The meat is lean and flavorful with minimum waste. Please visit my website to see pictures.
Also have farm fresh flavorful brown eggs from cage free hens!
My husband is a son of a retired commercial bee keeper and is the president of the local bee keepers association and offers wonderful natural raw local honey!
Farm visits are always welcome!
