At Roots to River, we are striving to reclaim the integrity of the food system through personal connections. It is through our CSA that we create our most valuable relationships, knowing that the community has invested in our farm feeds us as farmers and in turn feeds our members. We offer shares of over 300 varieties of high quality vegetables and flowers.
We are a small (transitional) organic farm located on a 60 acre farm in the heart of Solebury Township Pennsylvania. We specialize in heirloom varieties and year-round production for farmer's markets, restaurants and a Community Supported Agriculture Program.
Roots to River Farm aims to transcend the economic, ecological and cultural devastation created by the industrial agriculture system by providing high quality organically grown produce directly to its local community.
Roots to River Farm aspires to produce local food year-round in Southeast Pennsylvania. We utilize resilient agricultural techniques such as reduced-tillage, intensive cover cropping, integrated pest management and organic compost applications to create a farm that nurtures our community with good food and beautiful flowers while also nurturing the soil and ecology of our farm.
