Rose Hill Farms LLC

We have CSA shares available for the 2012 summer season which starts May 15. Contact us if you wish to get more information on our comprehensive CSA.

At Rose Hill Farms we are dedicated to sustainable farming practices and preservation of the natural ecosystem. We grow a large array of heirloom and heritage vegetables as well as tending to a large orchard (about 350 fruit and nut tree) which contains both traditional produce such as apples, peaches, and cherries, and exotic species like figs, citrus, kiwis and pomegranates. No chemical pesticides, herbicides or sprays are used on our farm. We usually have an open day and a tour of the farm around June or July depending on our schedule Our CSA program usually runs from May to October with an additional winter season whose timelines vary according to the year. We are planning to extend that period to a year round program so that customers can be constantly supplied. Our CSA share includes a veggies basket and a fruit basket, plus flowers. Our focus is on consistently providing local, naturally grown, picked-on-the-same-day produce to our customers with no environmental compromise. Most of the animals we raise and breed are heritage breeds. We breed and sell Tamworth hogs and Babydoll Sheep. Highland cattle and Jersey cows are also an integral part of our farm; veal and beef are regularly available. All of our animals are free-range and fed on pure grass, organic grain and organic hay as well as kitchen scraps and milk (hogs). Contact us if you are interested in buying local, pastured, hormone free veal, beef, lamb, or pork; for those looking to raise animals themselves we also regularly offer breeding quality weaner hogs, lambs, and highland cattle.
