Rose Mountain Farm is owned and operated in NW North Carolina. We are USDA organically certified for produce. We raise vegetables, chickens, and pigs. We will attend the Ashe County Farmer's Market on Saturdays in the summer. You can also see us on facebook. Accepting one intern this summer. Farming and offgrid living hands on education.

Farmers' Market
Schedule and Location:
Ashe County Farmer's Market - downtown West Jefferson, in season on Saturdays from 8AM-1PM, and Wednesdays from 8-1pm in summer. Winter market is the first Saturday of each winter month.
Watauga County Farmer's Market - Boone, in season Saturdays, with the exception of ASU home game weekends.
Lansing Farmer's Market - beside the fire station in Lansing, Thursday afternoons.

RMF has a 20-week CSA season for vegetables, beginning in May. A full share will feed 4 people for a week (with groceries).

All the products from Rose Mountain Farm aregrown and raised on the farm and are available from me only at the Ashe county farmers market and from the farm by appointment only. Please call ahead. I am looking for one intern for the summer. intern will receive room and board of primitive nature. All food will be from the farm. You will learn to milk, grow vegetables, harvest livestock and preserve winter food. You must be motivated and willing.
