Vineyard Herbs Rosemary's Blessing First Aid Ointment is handcrafted on the island of Martha's Vineyard. The salve is a healing ointment, traditionally used for cuts, scrapes, burns, lacerations, bites, bruises, and other topical wounds. Crafted with herbs hand-harvested and infused in quality oils, this and other Vineyard Herbs salves won Third Place at the 2009 International Herb Symposium competition.
Packed with wild plants traditionally prized for their healing abilities, such as plantain, yarrow, red clover and comfrey, this salve is rich as an emollient, soothing for healing skin, and anti-septic and anti-bacterial. Its fragrance is a combination of rosemary essential oil and clove oil which has a slight numbing, analgesic effect.
Contains: hand-harvested Elder leaf, Comfrey leaf, Plantain leaf, Yarrow leaf, Red Clover tops, Chicory leaf, and Oregano leaf extracted in a base of olive oil, canola oil and unbleached beeswax, with rosemary and clove essential oils. (ingredients vary with harvest)
