Rosin organics is an OCIA certified organic farm/ranch in north central SD. We grow a variety of small grains, and have certified organic angus cattle. Population in this area is sparse, and we haven't had any demand, locally, for any food products processed enough for consumers. We could network with several other growers in the area if there was enough demand to ship products. Cleaned and bagged small grains, i.e. wheat, millet, peas, etc. would be a possibility. Also, grass finished beef would be possible on a small scale. We are affiliated with the grass fed beef coalition in Nebraska, and are working to join a number of producers for a more steady, consistent supply of grass fed beef. My wife and I also do natural horsemanship. We would be interested in a kind of "dude ranch" experience for horsemen and budding horsemen to come, spend some time, and learn to be natural partner with your horse. It could involve helping with some farm/ranch chores, and trail rides in some lovely, unsettled country. We have quite a variety of "critters". besides cattle and horses, a small herd of goats which we milk seasonally, 1 jersey milk cow, ducks, chickens, geese, guineas.
