Ruby Peak Farms

Ruby Peak Farms is located in beautiful Wallowa County of Northeastern Oregon. Our Jacob sheep are raised on the rich grass pastures of the Lostine Valley, and in the winter are fed fed hay cut from those same pastures. We manage the pastures with rotational grazing and do not broadcast herbicides, pesticides or chemical fertilizers.

Our sheep are not fed any hormones,grains, or chemicals and are raised from birth on the grass pasture of our farm. Jacob sheep produce a naturally lean meat with exceptional flavor.Lambs are harvested at about 7-8 months of age in a humane manner right here on the farm.

Jacob Sheep are are considered a rare breed by the American Livestock Breed Conservancy. (more...)
