Our farm is situated back in the Appalachian mountains right across the Georgia boarder, in Brasstown, North Carolina. Our name comes from the farm pond where hundreds and maybe even thousands of red spotted and red backed salamanders make their home. Salamanders are an important diagnostic species that help determine if an ecosystem is vibrant and healthy Here at Salamander Cove we firmly believe in growing fruits and vegetables with deep regard for the Earth. We sell our fruits and veggies through the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model. Families buy a share of the farm for one growing season and in turn receive 5-12 fresh veggies each week . We run from May through October. This model helps to share some of the risk for farm families while providing sustainably grown, fresh, and affordable produce to member families.
