Salem Public Market is Oregon's oldest farmers market since 1943. We are open year round every Saturday 8:30-1:00. We are located at 1240 Rural Ave. SE in Salem, just 10 blocks south of Mission Street down 12th street.
Many vendors have come and gone since 1943 yet Oregon's oldest farmers market still offers a great variety of farm fresh conventional and organic produce and berries, flowers, mushrooms, meats, nuts, honey, herbs, cheese, fresh roasted coffees, and wholesome bread and baked goods. You may also find one of a kind items like soaps, emu products, hand turned wood bowls and jewelry.
Two festivals are held annually at Market: Strawberry Shortcake Festival in June with a dish of fresh local strawberry shortcake for a food donation to Marion/Polk Food Share. Fou
