Not sure which mango to buy? Let our family select a box of fresh picked mangos especially for you. The box will contain 10 -12 lbs of delicious mangos individually labeled with their cultivar. At least 4 different cultivars will be included in each box and may include Florigon, Fairchild, Glenn, Gold Nugget, Springfels, Valencia Pride, Keitt, Kent, Tommy Atkins, Mallika, Van Dyke, Nam Doc Mai, Lancetilla, Palmer Haden or Choc Anon depending on the time of season.

Most mangoes sold in the United States are produced by other nations (primarily Latin America) requiring adherence to strict regimes to prevent introduction of pests such as fruit flies. While several quarantine treatments are available, hot water treatment (immersing the fruit in hot water) is by far the most popular in Latin America. However, members of the mango industry have expressed concern that hot water treatment is one reason that mango quality at the consumer level is often substandard.
