San Carlos Hot Harvest Nights - Farmers' Market

Hot Harvest Nights is San Carlos' award-winning Farmers' Market featuring organic and locally grown fruits, veggies, flowers and much more. 3000-4000 people come downtown every Thursday night from 4 - 8 pm from May to mid-September to shop, meet friends, dine and listen to a local band playing in the Downtown Park. Most restaurants have outdoor dining for your enjoyment and shops in our charming downtown stay open late for your pleasure.

Our market won the San Mateo County Convention and Visitors' Bureau "As Fresh As It Gets" award and has received great press because of the crowds, the afternoon/evening time frame and all the festivities. The Chamber features "Merchant at the Market" booths every week to allow a chance for local businesses to showcase their products and services.

Please come and see for yourself. Thursdays, 4 - 8 pm

The market is full of great food and flowers but also helps support the local merchants. I enjoy buying my local food and then eating dinner at any of the fabulous restaurants that are around.

The produce is truly fresh and the vendors are most helpful, At least the ones I shop from are very helpful. I agree with the other comments. I've been to some of the others in the area and look forward to Thursday afternoons.

It has a great selection of produce. It includes a booth on composting and vermicomposting. Included are live music and pets (kittens). Lots of people come.
