A Taste of the Latin American Agroecological Revolution

UCSC Farm & Garden Program - Santa Cruz, California

The Latin American Scientific Society of Agroecology (SOCLA) in collaboration with the Center for Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems (CASFS) announces a public event to interact with leading agroecologists from Brasil, Chile, Cuba, Ecuador, Mexico, Nicaragua and Peru. Our visitors will update us on the agroecological, technical and policy advances in various countries and the challenges to achieve food sovereignty in the midst of a globalized economy, corporate control of the food system, and climate change.

This event takes place at UC Santa Cruz's Media Theater. Enter the UCSC campus through the West entrance off of Empire Grade, and follow signs to the Media Theater.
