After over a decade of working for other Santa Barbara County organic farms, Roxanne and myself decided to give it a try on our own. Our focus was to grow florist quality, certified organic cut flowers. Unfortunately the market for organic products seemed to stop at the plate, while the flowers sitting less than a foot from the plate contain amounts of synthetic products that would be seen as illegal if on the food. We were not willing to let this stop us from achieving our dream. We simply began planting rare and mostly heirloom varieties of fruits and veggies. Our superior quality has been the leading factor in our farm's success. We can be found at the Sunday Goleta and Thursday Carpinteria Farmers' Markets. Also we have a farmstand at the corner of Drum Canyon Road and Hwy 246 between Buellton and Lompoc, in the Santa Rita Hills. The stand is open 12-6ish on Wednesdays and Saturdays. And for our loyal customers we offer a CSA progam that runs from early March through the end of November. Of course our passion for cut flowers never stopped. We still grow over 30 varieties of flowers. They are available at all our sales locations. Also Roxanne is an artist with these fresh beauties and can put together mixed bouquets that are guaranteed to amaze. Please come and see what living local can do to our world.
