The Sassafras Fairy CSA Garden, at the edge of the Cumberland Platue near Dunlap TN, is a diverse 30 acres of wild woods, pasture, vegetable and cut flower gardens, a planned orchard and home of Raine and Wolf Barjkana. We use no synthetic fertilizers or pesticides and strives to be a model of sustainability. 2008 will be our second year for the CSA garden which is our effort to bring the benefits of working in harmony with Mother Nature to the tables of a wider community. We believe people care about the environment and understand the value of food grown locally. (We have 4 Internships open for the 2008 season; email if you are interested.)
