At Sassafras Valley Farm we raise free range geese from goslings to maturity on natural pasture in the valley of the Gasconade River. Our philosophy is to eliminate reliance on supplemental outside food sources through a combination of "Low Impact Sustainable Agriculture" and scientific pasture planting and rotation processes. Our geese are raised on free range and pasture at a population density of less than 36 geese per acre in an antibiotic and hormone free environment. Our fields are carefully planted in forage that reflects their foods of origin and the local microclimate. Sassafras Valley Farm Geese are USDA processed and available for purchase and shipment throughout the United States for the Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year Holidays
