Savannah River Farms is a family working farm, owned and operated by the Deen family. We strive to meet the demands of an ever-growing population that cares about the healthy benefits of hormone and antibiotic free meats. Located a few miles from the Savannah River in Newington, GA, we use only natural methods of raising our livestock to yield products not only superior in taste but in health benefits as well. The humane treatment of our animals and the sustainability of our farm and the environment are our major priorities. We mill our own feed for the hogs and chickens right here on our farm and our cattle is raised on pasture grasses, hay, and sudan grass silage that we grow and store here on the farm for winter feed.

We practice a rotational grazing program with our cattle that helps in nutrient and pasture management. This allows the surrounding environment to thrive as mother nature intended. Our pigs and hogs range freely in the woods and on pasture. They have two fenced in land parcels of 10 acres each so that we can rotate them and allow one of the pastures rest when needed. Our poultry is totally free range and pasture raised. The doors to their hoop houses are never closed.
