Schrader Farms Meat Market is a USDA inspected family-owned facility that currently opened in August 2012. Keith Schrader, the owner of Schrader Farms Meat Market, started the business due to lack of USDA/Custom slaughter processing infrastructures in the Finger Lakes region of New York.
We have a 5,280square foot building with a holding capacity of 30 beef, 20 hog, lamb, goat, or veal per week. Jr Westervelt, plant manager and meat cutter of 30+ years of experience is working along side several other employees to offer a fees-for-service processing facility for farmers that want their own animals to be processed for their own use or to sell to other people. Here at Schrader Farms Meat Market we also sell retail beef and pork from local are farmers and the owner himself that we process here at our facility. All animals that are sold through our retail have no hormones added and are naturally raised. Our Hours of operation are Mon-Fri 7:30a-4:30pm and Sat 9:00am-1:00pm.
