Second Spring Farm grows vegetables for market and wholesale with sustainable, responsible farming practices, with a larger interest in working on projects that begin to fill gaps in our regional food system. Three-quarters acre of winter crops; four acres of vegetables next summer.

-->Winter free-choice CSA ordering: I send out an email each week listing what vegetables I'm harvesting that week; you can place an order by replying to the email. Pickup locations in Takoma Park and Vienna on Wednesdays, and on Thursdays on the farm. No obligation to order every week -- you're free to get as much or as little as you like. More details and to join the list check out the farm's website.

-->Farmers markets: This winter, Saturdays at Del Ray in Alexandria. Next summer's markets TBD.
