Painted Mountain Corn is my favorite field corn that I grow at Wayland Chilies. It was developed in the mountains of Montana producing a colorful hardy corn. The average ear of corn is 6-7" on 4-5' stalks. The corn is ideal for grinding into a high-nutrition flour as well as decorating, roasting, or hominy grits. I grow it in isolation to ensure that it is not cross polinated with other varities of corn. Organically grown. 2012 Season.

All seeds sold were grown in 2013 for the 2014 planting season.

All of the plants I grow are irrigated with pure artesian well water which is free of toxic chlorine and fluoride.
