My vineyard is planted on the Klamath River gold tailings which provide the perfect environment the White Riesling of Germany desires. The rocks are a thermal mass giving frost protection, and ready access to the underground water table. By its very nature the vineyard is weed free and a difficult place for deer to access for eating the crop. The Riesling thrive with minimal care extracting 'golden' flavors the miners missed. These mellow flavors are found in an extermely pleasant and non-puckering vinegar produced by a 50 year old acetobcter culture. Visit the web site to learn from my glossary.
