82 days. OP. Very popular in Mexico for salsas and sauces. Substantially hotter than jalapenos, but also used for pickling. This variety makes a two foot high and wide bush that carries a heavy load of peppers. The fruits are about 2 1/2" by 3/4", start green, and turn red upon fully ripening. Medium thick walls make this pepper unsuitable for drying. If Jalapenos are not hot enough for you, give serranos a try! Germinated at 80% on 1/3/13.
