Seven Springs Farm

Seven Springs Farm is a 111 acre organic (not certified) farm in Floyd County, Virginia. Our philosophy is to be stewards of the land in the most ecological way possible. We use farming methods that build the fertility of the soil, such as organic fertilizers and biodynamically made compost. Pest management is achieved through cultural practices and biological and botanically-based materials. The farm is home to a Community Supported Agriculture Garden that provides members in the Roanoke, Floyd, and New River Valley areas with fresh vegetables, beef, and eggs from mid May until early December. There is also an Organic Farming & Gardening Supply retail store and online catalog on the property. We mail-order or truck items direct to you. We have an apprenticeship program on the farm, that teaches a variety of skills including farming, machinery use, mechanics, carpentry, etc. More information can be found on the website.
