Seven Springs Farm is located 45 minutes east of Indianapolis and is convenient from Interstate 70 and several state highways. We raise grass fed eggs, chicken, turkey, and beef which are rotated daily around the farm to increase animal health and soil fertility. We follow biodynamic methods to build up soil health and use no hormones, antibiotics, chemical wormers, or drugs for our animals. Our eggs are available in Indianapolis at Sunflower Market, Kincaids Meats, Good Earth Natural Foods, Winding Way Health Foods, and Vintage Health Foods, plus 3 Indianapolis area buying clubs and the Traders Point Farmers Market. Email us for contact people in the buying clubs. We also serve several Indianapolis restaurants and will be adding more retail stores soon. Laying hens are kept in mobile henhouses that move around the farm during grass season, and they go into hoop houses during winter. Broilers are kept in Salatin style pens that move daily. We process chicken weekly May to October, and do turkeys the last 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. The turkey reserve list usually fills by June or July, so email us early if you want a turkey. Beef is sold by the cut at the Traders Point Farmers Market, but we also sell halves as they are available. All of our products are also available at the farm, by apointment since we don't have a farm store set up yet. We have been approved for bed and breakfast, and will have 2 rooms available as soon as they are furnished and ready.
Eggs, whole frozen chickens, chicken parts, turkey, and beef. Some produce seasonally. Petfood products include chicken heads, feet, frames (also makes wonderful soup stock), gizzards, hearts, and livers.
