Our family farm has been in the family for three generations. We farm rich prairie land in Northwest Iowa.
As of this year we have 240 acres certified organic with plans to increase that to 530 acres.
We raise certified organic pasture pork, grass-fed lamb, free range broilers and layers. Our son and his wife have a jersey milking herd and honey bees.
We also custom-graze a few head of beef cattle.
Pastureland is rotationally grazed to improve the soil and capture carbon.
We attend two Farmers Market during the summer months and sell breads as well as meats.
We have given many farm tours, are members of (PFI) "Practical Farmers of Iowa" and have had internships occasionally.
