Shade River Organic Farm, located in Athens, OH has been in existence since 1985. We grow up to 60 varieties of produce ranging from: arugula, melons, tomatoes, asian greens and peppers. We have 10 acres of farm land plus 18,000 square feet of greenhouse production. All produce is grown in fully organic soil. (not hydroponic) In 2010, Shade River will begin a CSA in the Athens area.
