The Shallotte Farmers' Market is conveniently located at the RiversidePark at the corner of Hwy130 (Whiteville Rd.) and Main St. behind the BEMC Temp/Temp sign and Chamber of Commerce next to Shallotte Plaza. We operate rain or shine every Saturday 8AM until 12 noon. Opening date for the 2009season is May 2, 2009 and will continue through the fall growing season. We have a wonderfu new location on the banks of the Shallotte River with shade and cool breezes! Every week it's a new market as produce comes into season. Some of the products offered may include, organically and conventionally grown vegetables, fruits, berries, herbs, flowers, plants, seafood, baked goods, jams, jellies, arts and crafts. All items at the market are produced locally by the person selling it. Customers can talk directly with the growers and crafters to ask any questions they may have.
