This is our favorite Pimento pepper! Fruits are very flavorful and super sweet. They are perfect pickled, canned, or stuffed and baked. Peppers average about 4" wide and 2.5 -3" tall. Plants are bushy and short, producing fruits over a long season. This year, this variety survived several light frosts in October and still produced an extra late crop for me. They produced steadily from June until November!! This variety also freezes well and makes the best Pimento Cheese! Originally introduced by SSE as "an Ohio heirloom from the family of Nick Rini".

Propagation / Germination:I guarantee these seeds to have at least an 80% germination rate when grown in accordance to instructions that are enclosed with the seeds. My exact tests for this variety showed around 93% germination.

All of the seeds we sell have been home grown on our family farm. Seeds are only harvested from the best plants and varieties are either field isolated, caged, or hand pollinated depending on vegetable type to prevent cross pollination.
