We are a small family run farm specializing in raising registered Shetland sheep.
Shetlands are a small, primitive breed originating in the Shetland Isles of Scotland. They are best known for their fine wool and very high quality meat with outstanding flavor and texture. Shetlands come in the most varied colors and markings of any other sheep~ 11 colors and 33 different markings. We sell breeding stock for those wishing to start a new flock or add new bloodlines to an existing one. Bred-ewes are due late April. Lambs will be available June through August. Handspinners may purchase raw fleeces after shearing day.
We have heritage breed, pasture raised poultry that lay healthy, gorgeous brown, blue, green and sometimes pink eggs.
Our unprocessed wildflower honey is" taken off the hives " in July.
