Shilla is an extremely large and vigorous variety which will be very early to emerge and to harvest. It is sometimes mistaken for elephant garlic because of its size! It's taste is robust and flavorful and the large heads are wonderful for roasting.
Approximately 80 cloves per pound.
Since 1997 the Rueb family has been developing and selecting our gourmet garlic strains at Forever Yong Farm in Amado, Arizona. Even southern gardeners can grow high quality garlic usually only found in the north by choosing the right varieties. We are dedicated to developing these varieties and making them available to our customers.
