Simply Sage is a partnership between two neighboring farms owned by Wendy Oien and Marie Fox. We grow all of our products using only organic practices, however, we are not certified yet. We are committed to sustainable agriculture and work diligently to leave a very small footprint on this earth. We grow a large variety of greens, heirloom tomatoes, herbs, gourds, squash (winter and summer), and we are tending a very young orchard with a wide variety of fruits (raspberries are the most prolific so far). We have a young apiary of six hives and are anticipating the sale of honey in the fall. In addition to produce, we provide our customers with healthy eggs from happy pastured poultry, organically grown bedding plants and an assortment of crafted items that are produced on our farms (custom wreaths, notecards created by co owner of Simply Sage artist Marie Fox, handpainted birdhouse gourds, industrial quality garden signs, stepping stones, and English potting troughs) . To encourage the love of "playing in the dirt" we teach classes on beginning gardening, English potting trough construction and stepping stones. We also teach wreath making and and bread baking.
