Skokomish Farms is a 'village around a farm' where 18 homeowners can participate in the farming process. The farm will certify organic as there have been no herbicides, pesticides or commercial fertilizers for more than five years. We are converting an old hay farm into an organic farm with field crops, some grown year-round in greenhouses, conbined with a grass-fed, cross-pastured livestock operation. We will have pasture-raised broilers available in late summer with ducks, turkeys and geese in the mid-fall season for the holidays. We will make more information available as our planning progresses.
