Slipping Down Farm is a small farm operation based on the production of maple syrup and maple related products and all types of bee activity: honey and pollen production, local pollination services and bee removal. We also make apple cider vinegar from a variety of apples. As much as possible, our products are packed in recycled containers. Over the past 15 years we have kept thousands of canning jars (used to package maple syrup), mayonnaise jars (for extracted honey), and wine bottles (vinegar) out of the waste stream. We are also beginning a small composting operation to help turn spoiled hay and the "end product" from local horse farms into a product to help enrich the soil in local gardens.
