Slow Food USA is a non-profit, eco-gastronomic, member-supported organization dedicated to supporting and celebrating the food traditions of North America. A national, grassroots network of thousands of members, food producers and over 170 volunteer-run chapters, Slow Food USA educates people about how their food choices affect the rest of the world. Through Taste Education, Defending Biodiversity, and Building Food Communities programs, Slow Food USA is committed to a bio-diverse sustainable food supply, local producers, heritage foodways, and rediscovering the pleasures of the table.
