We are a diversified, pasture-based dairy farm. We raise and market grass-fed beef and rose veal, free-range chicken and Thanksgiving turkeys, natural pork, and eggs from free-range hens. Our livestock are raised on pasture and fed grains without antibiotics, growth hormones, or animal byproducts. We focus on our credo: "where pigs get to be pigs, cows get to be cows, and chickens get to be chickens," allowing our animals to live as close to their natural manner as possible. We also wholesale organic milk from our 30 holstein and jersey cows. Natural meat and poultry products can be purchased from the farm with a phone call to be sure we're here, or from the Winthrop Farmers' Market on Tuesdays, 9-1, mid-May through October. Farm tours are available with prior arrangement.
Flexible purchasing options. buy a single package, or order a custom cut animal. Come to the farm and fill your freezer: purchase $200 and save 10%! Our chicken can be purchased as whole or half birds, boneless breasts, thighs, drumsticks, and organ meat. We are willing to work with area restaurants and natural food stores interested in our products. Meats and poultry are processed at state-inspected facilities, so can be sold within the state of Maine only.
