We are a family farm and grow a wide range of produce, herbs, and garden seedlings. We attend the Orono, Pittsfield, Newport, Unity and Waterville Farmers' Markets and operate a debit type of CSA through those markets. We work with the Town of Pittsfield to recycle all the town resident's waste grass and leaves, which we compost with a local dairy farmer's cow manure. We also have a small maple sugaring operation and are adding blackberries, raspberries and grapes. We have built several greenhouses from poles cut from our woods, and covered with recycled greenhouse plastic. On our website we have tons of info about our farm and several photo essays explaining how we do things on the farm, including saving heirloom seeds, gravity fed drip irrigation, various forms of mulching, etc. Our annual guided farm tour is always Noon-4pm on the second Sunday in July.
