Snick's Farm has been family owned nearly 80 years now, in that time its gone through a lot of changes. And now in 2010 it's changing again. This time we're trying to follow the sustainable agricultural model as best we can. At the moment we're working on becoming a certified organic vegetable producer by 2015, in the mean time we are practicing organic methods in our garden and working on expanding the farm business to include livestock. We have already begun keeping free range chickens for eggs, a few feeder pigs to help dispose of our abundant garden waste, and several rabbits for breeding and meat. The farm has a roadside stand that is open daily as long we have crops to sell, we also take part in the new "Green Farmers Market" in Jackson, MI and the Farmers Market in Hillsdale, MI. In th
